In Eve's Elixir, Dance Distilled to its Most Intoxicating (2007),
choreographers Holly Shaw, Mira Betz, and Hannah Romanowsky transformed world dance traditions into an innovative performance
taking the audience to the heart of world dance to the tunes of old Hollywood and more. Creating compelling personas
that hummed with the vibrations of tried and true tradition they drew from flamenco, Persian, and Arabic dance, infusing
them with jazz, modern, burlesque, and classical dance to create powerful elixirs of experience. Included special performances
by Katja Cooper on cajon, jazz singer Exmerelda Gorey, and dancers Katy Alaniz of World Dance Fusion, and Rose Harden of Barbary
Coast Shakedown. Eve's Elixir's San Francisco debut at CounterPULSE theatre was a HUGE success, selling out both nights to
